The Minot Police Department will provide excellent police services to the citizens and guests of the City of Minot.  We will strive to reduce and prevent crime, to instill a sense of safety and security, and to work in partnership with our community to preserve a high quality of life.  We will use our training and resources along with our values of honor, integrity and trustworthiness to serve our citizens. Our goal is to make Minot a better place for all to live through our commitment to our profession.

The Minot Police Department strives to provide the citizens of Minot with professional police service with an emphasis on treating people with respect and fairness. The role of a police officer can be very demanding and challenging. It requires high standards of conduct, dedication to duty, and personal sacrifice for the good of others.  The men and women of this department are called to be public servants, charged with the duty to protect and serve our community and its visitors.  The Minot Police Department engages with the community in many ways to help accomplish our common goal of making Minot a truly great place to live, work, and enjoy life.
