11 candidates for City offices will appear on June ballot

Eleven candidates submitted the required paperwork to appear on the June ballot for City of Minot offices.

City of Minot positions on the June 12 ballot include mayor, three seats on the City Council, and municipal judge. The candidates who will appear on the ballot are:

  • Mayor: Timothy Mihalick, Shaun Sipma, Nancy Bommelman
  • City Council: David Shomento, Stephan Podrygula, Paul Pitner, Edward Montez, Mark Jantzer, Lisa Olson
  • Municipal judge: Ashley Beall, Mark Rasmuson

The submitted paperwork, including the required 300 signatures of eligible voters within the city limits, was verified by the City Auditor’s office.

The election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12. The single polling location will be Room 201 at the Minot Municipal Auditorium; the poll is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
