6.1.

CITY COUNCIL MINUTES

It is recommended the City Council approve the minutes of the June 20, 2022 Regular City Council meeting and the June 28, 2022 City Council Reorganization meeting.

6.2.

ORDINANCES

The following ordinances should be considered for second reading:

  1. Ordinance No 5732 - RZ - Minot HS 2 Addition Lot 1
  2. Ordinance No 5753 - Zoning Map Amendment - South 110ft of Lot 2 Block 1 Ramstads Third Addition

ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS

It is recommended the City Council approve the Administrative Approvals. 

6.4.

BILLS, TRANSFERS, AND PAYROLL

It is recommended the City Council approve payroll for the period of May 22, 2022 through June 18, 2022 in the amount of $2,165,153.73 and bills and transfers for June in the amount of $6,961,263.31.

MINOT HS 2 ADDITION (NEW HIGH SCHOOL) DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

It is recommended that the City Council approve the development agreement as shown in Attachment A.

6.6.

MAJOR SUBDIVISION FINAL PLAT: MINOT HS 2 ADDITION

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

It is recommended City Council approve a major subdivision final plat as provided in Attachment A to create Minot HS 2 Addition.

RESOLUTIONS FOR FIRST WESTERN BANK AND TRUST

RECOMMENDED ACTION

  1. It is recommended the City Council approve the resolutions to update the authorized signatories on the City’s accounts with First Western Bank and Trust for the removal of the previous Mayor and addition of the newly elected Mayor; and
  2. Authorize the Mayor, Finance Director, and City Treasurer to sign all documents.
6.8.

2021 - SIDEWALK, CURB & GUTTER REPLACEMENT - FINAL PAYMENT (4554)

RECOMMENDED ACTION

It is recommended the City Council approve the final payment of $7,563.79 to be paid to Keller Paving & Landscaping, Inc.

2019 STATE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT (SHSG) FUNDS (2020200008 / PD0187)

RECOMMENDED ACTION: 

It is recommended the City Council amend the 2022 Annual Budget to increase the police department general fund revenue & expenditures for department materials and supplies, for unused FY 2019 State Homeland Security Grant funds.

COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION REQUESTS FOR THE 2023 ANNUAL BUDGET

RECOMMENDED ACTION

It is recommended the City Council direct staff on the level of funding for the community contribution requests for the 2023 annual budget. 

7.2.

LETTER OF SUPPORT TO ND DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR RWIP WORKFORCE PROGRAMS GRANT REQUEST FROM MACEDC

RECOMMENDED ACTION

  1. It is recommended the City Council approve a resolution supporting a grant application for the Regional Workforce Impact Program (RWIP) from the Minot Area Chamber EDC applying to the North Dakota Department of Commerce for American Rescue Plan Act funding; and
  2. Authorize the Mayor to sign the letter of support.
