The City of Minot will receive sealed bids at the City Clerk’s office at 515 2nd Ave. SW until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 for the sale of surplus City equipment. The bid envelope shall be clearly marked 

"Bid Surplus City Equipment — Landfill Dozer — Project #4348"

The terms of the sale will be cash only. Each bidder shall tender a cashiers or certified check in the amount of 10% of the amount of the bid. The check of the high bidder is to be retained by the City as liquidated damages in the event the bid is withdrawn after being accepted by the City of Minot. The City of Minot reserves the right to reject any or all bids as he deems it to be in the best interest of the City.

This equipment consists of the following:

One (1) John Deere Landfill Dozer 950J (2011 Model)

The 2011 John Deere 950J landfill Dozer is in working condition with 10,270 hours. All records of service and repairs are on file. Minimum bid accepted is $40,000.

Information on this equipment is available at the City of Minot Public Works Office, 1025 31st St. SE. The equipment may be inspected by contacting John Reynolds or Jason Sorenson at 857-4140.

Bidders are invited to be present at the above-mentioned time and place for the opening of the bids. All bidders will be notified of award. Bid forms are available in the Public Works Office at 1025 31st St. SE or by calling 701-857-4140.
